I am Revati Kumta, aged 67 yrs. I joined Yoga in Your Health Matters class run by Suhani Ozarde in August 2018. I had thyroid with TSH level 6.24 whereas the normal range is o. 38 - 5.33, and knee pain. So I wanted to get rid of thyroid and knee pain. So I joined yoga. In Jan. 2020 sugar was detected... Fasting is 169, PP is 233 and the HBA1C was very high i. e. 9.2/217.3. In May 2020 I again tested and the reports were almost normal i.e. Fasting.. 89, PP...152. The HBA1C was 6.7/145.5. Now again in Sept 2020 I tested. The reports are again normal. Fasting sugar is 218 and PP is 152. The HBA1C is 5.7/116.9 whereas the normal range is 6.0/ <136. The level of Thyroid is 2.42 whereas normal range is 0.38 - 5.33. This is really a great achievement for me and this is definitely due to regular yoga done by me. Of course I took ayurvedic medicines too simultaneously. My knee pain too has almost reduced. I feel very energetic and fresh for the whole day, after doing yoga in the morning. I feel relaxed too. Yog has helped me to improve my life both physically and mentally. In Yours Health Matters class I am very much impressed by the way suhani takes the sessions. Her communication skills are super. She watches each of her students while doing yoga. If they go wrong she corrects them then and there itself and advises them the advantages and disadvantages of the aasans. This makes the students correct and perfect in doing the aasans and they get the proper benefits of aasans. This is the reason I got full benefit of yoga and I could reach my goal of attaining my all reports normal. I give full credit to yoga. Now in this lockdown period suhani has started online classes. So I didn't miss my yoga during lockdown. My advice to younger generation and all my friends and relatives is that they should spare some time, from their busy schedule, to yoga daily and stay happy and healthy. Now as the classes are online it is very convenient to all to attend yog classes at home and keep themselves active and healthy.

Hi friends, Doing Yoga at my age of 68 yrs has been very rejuvinating experience for me. I have been extremely busy working and could never find time for myself, but once I started My classes my Guru Suhani has been very encouraging and motivating. I have lower back problems and stiff and over weight. But doing yoga regularly I have lost inches, my body and mind feels healthy and happy. I feel so happy that i can fit into my old clothes once again. thankyou Suhani for helping me God bless you.
Your body exissts in the past & your mind exist in the future. In YOGA they come together in present. My Name is Prajakta Vaidya & I am 35 years old. I am practicing yog from last 4 months. I would like to some of my experience while practicing yoga. My thinking and concentration level has increased because of meditation. Pranayams like Anulomb vilom have helped me alot in improving my breathing capacity, relaxation & mindfulness. Initially my breathing capacity was too low ie. almost 4 seconds but now it has increased to 7,8 Seconds. Yoga has helped me to improve flexibility, correct postures and also in reducing stress level. I have improved my forward bending positions while doing asans. I was suffering from lower back pain post pregnancy but now it has reduced alot after everydays practice. I would like to thank my mentor Ms. Suhani Ozarde, who guided me & supported me everytime. She always helps me in correcting my postures and I really appreciate her enthusiasm for teaching and preparedness she bring to YOGA. Thank You for supporting my Journey !!! Due to a sedentary lifestyle and irregular working hours, it is tough to take out time for regular exercise. And you don`t even feel motivated to do it yourself. After sitting for long hours, I was suffering from back pain. But due to lockdown and WFH, I could join online yoga classes by YHM. It`s been six months now that I do regular exercises with YHM. You feel energetic and happy after the morning yoga sessions. With regular yoga practice I have improved my body postures. Back pain has also reduced. I also get cold very frequently so trying to reduce it with the breathing practices. Suhani makes sure that every day, you perform different activities and never let the fun and enthusiasm go down. She always motivates to do more but follow correct postures. She also modifies or tells alternate ways of doing the same exercise, considering different age groups. Her teaching technique is excellent. I will recommend her if you are looking for a yoga class.
